Sarah's Wrap Up:
February was a great reading month for me in more ways than one! I started my bookstagram, Shannon and I got our blog up and running, and I read a ton of books! Below I will list those books, a star rating, and a brief synopsis. If you would like a book review for any books listed let me know in the comments!
1. The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: The Diary of a Young Girl is just that. This is an account written by Anne from the time of her thirteenth birthday, until her and her family are captured by Nazis. This book is such a necessary read and I will recommend it to everyone!
2. The First Lady by James Patterson and Brendan Dubois
Rating:4/5 stars
Synopsis: After a huge scandal shocks The White House, and the citizens of America (the beloved President cheating on his wife), The First Lady goes missing.
3. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: A man in is eighties dies on his birthday. After he passes he meets five people that changed the course of his mortal life.
4. The President is Missing by James Patterson and Bill Clinton
Rating: 4/5 stars
Synopsis: Ahead of an upcoming impeachment hearing, The President goes missing from the public eye. Little does everyone know, he's fighting to save the United States from its biggest attack yet.

Rating: 1 or 2/5 stars
Synopsis: This book is supposed to be about striving for your dreams.
6. The Murder House by James Patterson and David Ellis
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: After being disgraced as an NYPD cop, Detective Jenna Murphy signs on with the police force in the Hamptons. Little does she know her career might just be on the fast track to ending. Again. Unless she can solve the biggest murder case in the Hamptons.
7.Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander
Rating: 3/5 stars
Synopsis: A neurosurgeon contracts a rare disease and enters a coma. While in his coma he goes to Heaven, and retells about what he saw there.
8. Here Lies Daniel Tate by Cristin Terrill
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: The biggest scam of the year happens when a petty criminal stumbles into a twisted situation by lying about is identity.
9. The Chef by James Patterson and Max Dilallo
Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Synopsis: After leaving the police force in New Orleans, Caleb is tasked with stopping the biggest terrorist attack since 9/11 that is set to occur during Mardi Gras.
10. Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reed
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: This book is written as an interview that tells us about the rise and fall of the biggest (fictional) band in the 60's.
11. A Paris Year by Janice MacLeod
Rating: 4/5 stars
Synopsis: A non-fiction account of a woman's life in Paris. Written through diary entries, photos, paintings, and quotes.
12. Toys by James Patterson and Neil McMahon
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: A futuristic world where the Elites rule. Their next goal? Destroy humanity.
13. Night by Elie Wiesel
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: The account of Elie Wiesel's time in Auschwitz. This is another heartbreaking but necessary read.
14. Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
Rating: 3.5 or 4/5 stars
Synopsis: Axel and his Uncle discover the entrance to the center of the earth. With begrudging Axel, and ambitious Uncle Lidenbrock making the long journey they are faced with a string of problems and twists of fate.
15. The Store by James Patterson and Richard Dilallo
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: An online retailer that watches everything we do, and is taking over the world. Fantasy or reality?
16. The End by James Patterson and Brendan Dubois (bookshot)
Rating: 3/5 stars

17. At Home in the World: Reflections on Belonging While Wandering the Globe

18. The Wonderling by Mira Bartok
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: An orphaned fox with one ear seeks to find what happened to his family by escaping the horrible orphanage he resides in. However, he will find a lot more than he bargained for.
19. The Twin by Natasha Preston
Rating: 4/5 stars
Synopsis: When twins Iris and Ivy's mom dies, Iris moves in with Ivy and their dad. Ivy can't help shaking the feeling that something is off about Iris.
Shannon's Wrap Up:
February had its positives and negatives for me. On the plus side I started a bookstagram and Sarah and I got our book blog off the ground! Unfortunately, due to some unexpected life circumstances, I only got to read and finish five books this month. The books I did read are listed below with a star rating and a brief synopsis.
1. Bared to You by Sylvia Day (Crossfire series)
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: After moving to Manhattan, Eva meets the rich, dark, and dangerous Gideon Cross and sparks ignite. Will their fire build into something beautiful or will they get burned? Neither know for sure, but what is known, is that it will get hot.
2. Reflected in You by Sylvia Day
Rating: 4/5 stars
Synopsis: The second book in the Crossfire series. Eva and Gideon's flame continues to burn and build. They find they are bound by unpleasant pasts and they need each other, but are they good for each other?
3. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: A young boy, Bod, is brought up in a graveyard and protected by ghosts from a man in his past who is still out to kill him.
4. There's Someone Inside Your House
Rating: 5/5 stars
Synopsis: Makani Young leaves her dark past behind in Hawaii as she moves to Nebraska with her grandmother only to find that her past isn't far behind. As students at Osborne High begin to die in a series of murders terror grows as well as her relationship with Ollie.
5. The Summer of Chasing Mermaids
Rating: 4/5 stars
Synopsis: Elyse d'Abreau had big dreams of stardom, but a boating accident took that all away. She seeks solitude at Atargatis Cove where she learns that solitude may not be what she needs. Elyse spends the summer finding her inner voice.
