Shannon's review:

I read this whole book in less than 3 hours.....if that doesn't drive my point home.....I will say it, I give this book 5/5 stars. This book instantly captured me. It presents a very likable main character, Janie, who despite having this crazy ability, that she doesn't want, lives a life of a fairly normal teenage girl. I LOVED Janie and Cabel's connection! Even if the two weren't on the best of terms, Cabel looked out for and cared for Janie the whole time. It was very sweet, and made me easily fall in love with his character. I can't wait to see what the next two books in the series hold.

Sarah's Review:

I remember reading this book when I was in middle school. I reread the first book and then continued on with the series last year. Janie is one of my favorite female leads. She is strong, independent, and caring. Cabel is also strong, independent and smart while battling his demons. The way both of them interact is amazing. If you haven't read this book yet, you should!
