Shannon's Review: 3.5/5 stars
I gave this book 3.5 out of 5 stars because while it was good, it wasn't one of those books I craved to finish, I didn't fly through the pages NEEDING more. It was a super quick read. I could have easily finished it in one day, but didn't because like I said I didn't have the burning urge to finish it. The story itself had lots of plot twists which keep the story moving. For me it was a good book, but not great or fantastic.
Sarah's Review:
This was a good book, but like Shannon mentioned I wasn't craving more. I think if the plot twists were revealed a little less bluntly it would have intrigued me a lot more. I really loved Anne as a character. Having daughters myself, I felt her pain with her as I can't fathom the situation she was in. Overall I think I will read Lapena's other books as I come across them.
